FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where can I buy tickets? Will there be a box office?

You can buy tickets on our website up to and including the festival weekend. We strongly advise buying your tickets in advance as many of our events do sell out by festival weekend. There will be an on-site box office with minimal staffing during the festival.

Tickets will NOT be available at the door of events.

Box Office Venue: The Box Office is located at the St Ambrose Primary School, Templeton Street, Woodend – between the Hall and the Church.

Box Office Hours

Friday 6:00pm–9.00pm

Saturday 9.30am–7.30pm

Sunday 10:00am–9:30pm

Monday 9.30am–2.30pm

Why do I have to create an account?

We understand that some people prefer not to create accounts when they buy tickets, however, it is important that we have this account data in order to ensure we can quickly and safely access your ticket purchase information when needed, such as in the case of a refund, cancellation or exchange.

Some of our sponsors require reports of our audience numbers and some general information about them, such as their postcodes. As such we include some questions in your account creation process; these questions are for data collation and may be shared with a third party for funding reporting purposes.

I need a Companion Card and/or Wheelchair bookings, do you facilitate this?

Please email us at woodendwinterarts@gmail.com and one of our volunteers will get in contact with you as soon as possible.

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, for most events. You can select your preferred seats from our venue maps when purchasing tickets. We strongly advise booking tickets before the festival to avoid disappointment. In 2024 the Words and Ideas events are General Admission.

Who is eligible for a concession?

Concession is available only to full-time secondary / tertiary students or pension / health-care cardholders. Seniors Card does NOT qualify for a concession ticket. Companion Cardholders should contact woodendwinterarts@gmail.com to make a booking.

Do you sell Children’s tickets?

If no child prices are listed, the concession price applies if there is one. All children must have a valid ticket. Children must be accompanied by an adult and remain in their seats at all times. Audience members with infants are kindly asked to step out of the performance if any noise may be distracting to the performers.

Do I need to print my tickets?

You can either print your tickets or display them on your smart device at the door.

Can I get a refund?

Please refer to our ticketing terms and conditions.
