Change of Venue for Joe Camilleri & the Black Sorrows concert

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the venue for the Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrow’s concert has changed: It will move from George and Deirdre Cremasco’s home to St Ambrose Hall in Woodend.

The time and date remain unchanged (Sunday 22 April, 4pm arrival for food and wine, 5pm concert), and you will still be able to enjoy quality Mount Towrong wines thanks to the generous support of George and Deirdre.

We’re looking forward to sharing this concert with you and the ARIA Award winning Joe Camelleri and the Black Sorrows as part of our Plus1 Woodend Winter Arts Festival fundraising program. Described in Rolling Stone magazine last year: “Jo Jo Zep brought the soul to Oz rock and the Black Sorrows did it again.”

We’re excited that next month we will experience, right here in the Macedon Ranges, the diverse musical range that spans bluegrass, blues, rockabilly, reggae, rock, gospel and soul that is Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows.

Because of the change in venue and to assist us with planning, please advise by 7 April if you require a seat for the duration of the performance (woodendwinterarts@gmail.com).

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 22 April at 4pm at St Ambrose Hall, Templeton St, Woodend.

Free parking is available immediately in front of the hall.

Additional tickets are available

Kind regards,
Jacky Ogeil (Artistic Director – WWAF)  and George Cremasco  (Owner – Mount Towrong Winery)
